I admit that I was skeptical….my first question was, “Just exactly what ARE ChalkboardDogs!  ?

are large, repositionable chalkboard canine silhouettes that can be mounted on any flat surface such as a wall, door or refrigerator. You can write on them with regular chalk or with Chalk Ink®.

There are over 50 dog breeds to choose from!

The material that is used for ChalkboardDogs! is eco-friendly, it is a chalkboard film coated with  REPOSITIONABLE,  removable adhesive.

When mine arrived, it was rolled up and my first thought was “Uh-oh, will I rip this when I attempt to remove the silhouette from the backing?” Not a chance! I am all paws when it comes to these things (and this is Dakota’s MOM talking), and if I can do it, YOU CAN DO IT!

I picked a Shetland Sheepdog (what else?) as my silhouette and removing it from the poly sleeve backing couldn’t have been easier!

To apply, simply remove the silhouette from the poly sleeve and peel off the white backing.  Carefully apply the silhouette to a clean, dry, flat surface taking care to be sure that any small bubbles or folds are flattened. That’s it!

Here is how mine looks after I wrote on it. If you can’t read it, it says “Everyone loves Shelties” and there is a reminder from Dakota to “BUY BONES!”

The size varies between breeds due to the orientation of the silhouette, but on average, the  ChalkboardDogs! are 22″ long and anywhere from 15″ to 30″ high.

Mine works perfectly in our kitchen, but as I mentioned above, should I wish to move it to another room I can! Once again, the message can be wiped clean with an eraser, damp cloth or sponge and you can write on it with chalk or special

Friday Find! ModaPet Pet Bowls!

Angelina’s Avenue Online Pet Shop-Guest Feature

From DAKOTA’S DEN: Hi every furry it’s Dakota! While Mom is preparing for  yet another lithotripsy (that she will be having this Wednesday)  for her kidney stones, I wanted to show you some adorable pet beds. I wanted to completely disclose that I did not receive a bed, so rather than this being a REVIEW, Mom and I agreed to allow Angelina to appear as a guest. We cannot give an honest assessment of the products, not having used them, but we think they are completely ADORABLE!

How long do you spend at the store trying to pick out the perfect mattress?

Well, dogs do the same when circling in their beds to find the right position.

We offer two different styles of beds, and blankets too!

  

Catered more towards curling up and sleeping comfort is our oval shaped beds.  They have bolstered sides that allow for any cat to curl up next to and have a soft and warm nights sleep.

Our other style dog bed doubles as a pet bed/decorative floor pillow.  I know personally I spent a lot of time looking for a bed that Spanky would love but would look cute in my home as well.  I believe our flower shaped bed suits both my needs!

All of our beds come in a variety of different soft blizzard fleece fabric designs to accommodate every home.

For our more luxurious dogs we’ve created faux fur pet blankets, made from the highest quality faux fur.  It is always important to make sure you dog is in a comfortable temperature while sleeping, dogs get hot and cold just as we do. Are you a hard-to-fit-size? No worries. When I was a Plus Size my frustration level used to be through the ceiling. Plus Sizes are welcome and abundant here in many of their designs!  Where were these guys when I was a 2X or 3X?

Deborah and I live so close to each other that we met for lunch and she  gave me  an adorable “Wild About Shelties” T-shirt to keep and review.  (I have to say that Deborah is every bit as unique and vibrant as the designs featured on her website! It was a complete joy to chat with her in person and to be able to completely see and  feel the love and pride she has for her high quality products).

I was so blown away with the custom design (all Deborah’s designs are created by their own in-house designer and are unique to Three Dogz LLC), you can have YOUR favorite breed featured on your shirt as well (most breeds are available). Your color choices are practically unlimited!

After receiving the T-shirt I proceeded to order the Pet Parents Pledge Sweatshirt (I PURCHASED IT because I LOVE THEIR MERCHANDISE, it was NOT given to me) which is the best-fitting, softest,   most unique and  comfortable sweatshirt that I own! My husband mentioned last night that I need to buy more of them because he had never seen me look so good in a sweatshirt! The attention to detail from the paw prints INSIDE of the hood, to the tiny paw prints on the top of the hoodie are the cutest thing I have seen in quite some time! (Many color choices are available!)
