To those of you who regularly read my blog, you know that I have been quite vocal in barking broadcasting my love for a gorgeous Sheltie princess who lives in Malaysia, Eva. She also has her own blog, which you may visit here
In case you missed my Wordless Wednesday post about Eva, you may click here
Yesterday morning I had the surprise of my life when my Mom told me that the beautiful Eva had responded!!! Not only had she responded, but she responded via video so that I might revel in her amazing beauty!!!
Here is the video Eva made, just for ME!! Not only is she beautiful, but she performs her tricks so delightfully! She is brilliant! Brains AND beauty! The total package!
Eva is so stunningly beautiful that seeing this video made me long to be with her that much more. She needs me to help her carry her toys (even if they ARE pink! I am manly enough to handle that!) Does anyone know how a Sheltie would go about getting a passport?
Long-distance love is such a trial!
Barks and licks and aching love, Dakota
Oh, I’m tickled pink, Dakota! Did you see my blushing cheeks?
I really hope the passport thingy can be sorted out ASAP though.
Can’t wait to have you here playing toys with me and I do need you to carry my toys as some of them are as big and heavy as me. I also have some boy toys like planet balls, frisbee, dumbells and I’ve lots of super duper delicious treats in my treat box that I can share with you.
My mom is a bit worried now as she doesn’t know what to do if there are two very beautiful, cute and hyperactive shelties at home. Btw, I’ll teach you how to keep those kitties away from my territory too (But Cody is always welcomed). Oh gosh, we have lots of things to play and share when you’re here!
Hugs and Licks
Eva
Hi Eva!
Awww you are such a sweet girl! I can see you blushing from here!
Wow!! You even have “boy” toys for ME to play with? That is just too cool!!!
I am more than happy to help you carry your toys, I am strong!
I am going to work on the Passport thing ASAP!
Tell your Mom not to worry, my Mom said to tell her I am the “perfect gentleman” at the vet and when I am OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE…it is only at home that I am hyperactive and crazy. The “beautifulness” I can’t help her with, that is what Shelties are! We are beautiful and we will always be beautiful!
I would love to help you keep your kitties away cause they aren’t my brother…my brother is the ONLY cat that I really like!
You know what I would LOVE to help you do? Chase the mail trucks!!!! BOL! That is one of my favorite things and we could bark as loud as we can together!!!
Have a wonderful day my precious and beautiful Eva!!!
All of my love, Dakota
You two are quite the couple 🙂
Sara, you made me laugh 🙂 lol!!!
Say hi to Oreo and Chewy from my Mom and I!
Barks and licks and love, Dakota
If anyone can make a long distance relationship work it is you two Sheltie beauties!!! You have a keeper Dakota…so does Eva:D!
Hi Sue! Yep we sure do appreciate each other and that is quite important in a successful relationship!:)
Barks and licks and love, Dakota
You two are so romantic.
Thank you Bailey…Eva makes it EASY to be romantic!! She is so lovely!
Barks and licks and love, Dakota
I saw Eva’s tribute on her blog. So romantic. Long distance love sucks!
Oh yes it WAS romantic!! Well, long distance love didn’t “suck” for my pawrents! But then again, Mom was only in Ohio and Dad was in Michigan. They didn’t need a passport for that 🙂
Barks and licks and love, Dakota
Hey Dakota,
I can see why you’re so smitten buddy – Eva is beautiful and she clearly loves you!!
Guess what, it is possible to get a Pet Passport and then you two love birds (Shelties) can be together – in the meantime have you considered using Skype? My Mum uses it all the time to hang out with family and friends who are miles away – it’s fun!! You two could have a virtual play date?
So happy you found true love buddy,
Your pal Snoopy 🙂
Hi Snoopy!
Now you see why I don’t want to play the field (but I like playing IN fields!!) Who would want to when they have such a gorgeous Sheltie like Eva in their life? I’m no fool!!
A Pet Passport! I need one! I have a Pet Driver’s license…now I just have to get a Pet Passport! YOU are a genius my friend! I see why you passed your therapy dog training with flying colors! You are brilliant! SKYPE! Never thought of that!! Might have to do that one day!
I am happy I found true love too, thank you Snoopy my friend!
Barks and licks and manly love, Dakota
Dear Dakota,
Does Cody has a tunnel? Yous 2 could use the tunnel network.
OR
Yous could join the CBI (Canine Bureau of Investigation) sister organization to the FBI (Feline Bureau of Investigation) they sent Kozmo all over the world!
Kisses
Nellie
Hi Nellie!
Nope no tunnel, Cody has a Cat Ball!!!
Well, I have to think about the CBI…I need to be there FOR REAL….BOL….plus…Mom has so much coming up I don’t know how much time she will have to help me! But it is for sure something to think about!

Dakota, Mama swears she sent something to your Mom thanking her for the bones, but she can’t find it anywhere. However, she did post a thank you on the our blog and wanted to make sure your Mom saw it. We loved your birthday bones and are so thrilled we won.
