I’ll never forget for sure. The kids in ninth grade right now were 4 or 5 when the buildings came down. Hard to believe in a few years, I will be teaching kids who weren’t even alive. It is our duty to make sure they understand the loss of that day.
What I realizes today when I went to visit my 11 year olds class that he was just a baby when this happened. The sixth graders are learning about this time in our past as history. It kinda hit me that we must always remember that freedom is so important.
